Henrietta Barnett School: format and practice

• Round One covers verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and English.
• Round Two covers English and mathematics. For 2027 entry it was a 60 minute English paper and a 50 minute maths paper, taken by the top 300 candidates.
• The school does not publish the content or mark schemes of Round Two, and does not release past papers or resources for it.

Tests, stages and dates are set by the school or council and change every year. This page is a summary, not the official rules.

Practice covers English, maths and reasoning. Reasoning suits Round One and maths suits Round Two. Extension sets give harder optional practice and are not an official round.
